Children are fast learners. They can pick up things faster than you can imagine. When children are 3 or 4 years old, you will see that they want to do things themselves. They want to have food on their own and also learn to do things like brushing, wearing clothes or combing. Some of them may also wish to learn how to bathe. Well, this is not an easy demand. Teaching your child how to bathe is a time consuming process. It is undoubtedly difficult but not impossible.

Teaching your little one how to bathe can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. If you teach your child properly, you will find that your babe will be reluctant to come out of the tub. This lesson can be fun for you and your kid. The instructions given below will help you to teach your child how to bathe.

1. The first step of bathing is to fill the tub and you should start from the very first step. Fill the tub yourself first and then ask your child to do the same. It will help your child to learn the beginning of the bathing process. He or she will enjoy it all the more if you add some scented or colorful bubbles in the bath tub. While you teach baby to bathe himself or herself, just be a little careful that your baby doesn’t slip and hurt himself or herself.
2. Once your child has successfully filled up the tub, you should now give her a washcloth or a loofah and show her how to apply body wash on the washcloth and loofah. As soon as she learns this, show her how she should wash her hands, legs, face, etc. Since she is a beginner, you need to help her with tough to reach areas like back, neck etc.
